Brief:
During the summer of 2016 we designed and built a more ergonomic bus stop bench for senior citizens and others in the West Philadelphia area. This involved a lot of what we do best at Public Workshop; community engagement. We worked alongside many of the people that would be using this bench to get an idea of what their needs are and test them out on the spot. To do that, we built off of the rickety old bench that was already there.
