Brief:
The goal for the school project was to create an addition for the Samuel Powel School in north west Philly. The addition would program the school to K through 8th instead of K through 4th, along with areas for art classes, a gymnasium, maker space, library, and cafeteria. My strategy for this was to push the program to the outside border of the site, to create a protected interior courtyard where there can be outdoor classes, and recess can be held.
